Educate
Jamaica Network was recently formed by a group of professionals
interested in children’s education in Jamaica.
Our resource/advise team includes programmers, principals, and
teachers and business The main objective of the group is to develop a website that
would allow schools to be able to post Homework to the site, so
that parents can monitor their children’s work.
Students, of course can check their Homework through this
medium and they will have access to a host of other educational
features and tools.
The
recently launched website –
www.homeworkjamaica.com,
links to other education related sites, and offers ideas and features
in the education arena in Jamaica.
We have tremendous support from several schools throughout
the island and expect that in short order, all schools will be participating
in this service. We thank the Ministry of Commerce, Science and Technology,
the Ministry of Education, JAMPRO, foreign country
representatives, and other private sector companies
for the support they have given to this venture.
We
welcome your
comments and suggestions, so please contact
us
with some.
